OAP, Bolanle Olukanni has voiced out her displeasure with INEC officials and the collation of results in am interview with CNN.
The TV personality listed out the several instances INEC failed to carry out its duties and responsibilities at the just concluded 2023 general election.
She pointed out how INEC didn’t keep to it’s promise of an electoral transmission of results and how a lot of the results INEC officials showed Nigerians were different from the results at their polling units.
Bolanle Olukanni expressed how disappointed she was with the body as she feels INEC is lying to us. She asserted that the election wasn’t free and fair.
“I think when it comes to what we were hoping, INEC the body that is conducting the election passed an electoral act in 2022 and pretty much the electoral act said that the result was going to be transmitted on their platform so it was going to be an electoral transmission.
That didn’t happen. You saw situations where INEC officials refused uploading the results and they said they didn’t have the ability and the device was slow.
2) A lot of the results that are being uploaded unto database doesn’t compare to the result people took pictures of on their phones”.
