Singer Portable opens up about the real-life events that led to some guys modifying his face after he allegedly refused to show up for a show after collecting payment.
There were rumors that the singer had taken money to perform but never showed up, and that he had been the victim of an assault at his home.
The latest twist is that Portable has publicly stated his belief that he had recorded with the group who supposedly traveled from the US just to perform with him.
The man claimed that he was paid 2.5 million naira for the job, but when he wanted to leave after finishing it, they wouldn’t let him go and wanted their money back.
They wanted all of the money he took from them returned, he said, because it was too much.
