Teni Blasts Northboi For Blocking Her Collaboration With Wizkid

Nigerian music star, Teni, has held producer Northboi responsible for the collapse of her much-anticipated feature with Grammy-winning singer, Wizkid.

Teni revealed that although she and Wizkid had already recorded a track together, it never got released due to a disagreement between the singer and Northboi.

In a video clip making the rounds, the “Uyo Meyo” crooner expressed her anger and vowed never to forgive the producer for messing up her opportunity to collaborate with Wizkid.

“Wizkid don do like 10 features but na only my own he no drop and na because of that useless boy Northboi. Na God go punish you. I no go forgive you. I no fit forgive you. God go punish you, Northboi,” Teni said emotionally in Pidgin.

Back in 2019, Northboi and Wizkid had a public falling out, with Northboi accusing the music star of failing to credit him properly for producing the track Joro. He also alleged that Wizkid once threatened him with a gun when he asked for a contract regarding his beats.

However, in 2022, there were signs of a reconciliation when a viral video showed both men in the studio together. In the video, Wizkid said, “More Love, Less Ego, the album on the way. I’m here with my brother for real. We’re back, baby… Northboi [laughs].”
