Co-founder of the well-known technological business Apple, Steve Wozniak, was reportedly admitted to the hospital in Mexico City on Wednesday following what appears to be a probable stroke.
The 73-year-old physicist and IT entrepreneur was supposed to take part in a World Business Forum event in the Santa Fe neighborhood of the Mexican capital, according to a report by CNBC.
According to a TMZ report, Wozniak told his wife he was “feeling strange” after leaving the gathering after finishing his speech.
It was his wife who insisted he seek medical attention. Details remain unclear, but TMZ surmised that Wozniak might have suffered from vertigo, a condition characterized by instability and dizziness.
Together with his more well-known business partner, the renowned investor and longtime Apple CEO Steve Jobs, who passed away in 2011, Wozniak launched the nascent Apple Computer corporation in 1976.
They invented personal computing and went on to become the most valuable company in the world. They are well-known for the functionality and design of a variety of consumer goods, like as desktop and laptop computers, as well as the iPhone mobile phone.
