“Some disgrace can lead to your grace” — BLord shares how EFCC’s arrest made him popular

Linus Williams, also known as BLord, expresses appreciation to the EFCC and explains how the media surrounding his arrest enhanced his popularity.

The young man made this obvious during an interview with @stevenndukwu, a social media journalist who shared the clip on his TikTok page.

BLord reported that he was woken up at 4 a.m. by a loud bang outside his door from several men claiming to be EFCC officials.

He was escorted to their station, and his phones and laptops were searched on the suspicion that he was a fraudster.

He was pronounced innocent, but they refused to release him, instead detaining him and requesting that their Abuja office call before letting him go.

Although he conceded that their cell was not too horrible, it was nevertheless exhausting, which made him realize how precious freedom was.

After much pleading and begging, he was finally released after 10 days, and he burst into tears.

Despite his innocence, they refused to release his seized properties, granting him only one while taking the other two.

This resulted in a lengthy court battle between him and the EFCC, and he emerged successful, reclaiming all of his properties.
