Renowned Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, has lashed out at Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode for ditching the opposition party for the ruling APC.

Femi Fani-Kayode has been under attack from all frontiers since he dumped the PDP for the APC. Taking to his Instagram page, Femi Fani-Kayode announced his defection as he shared photos of himself at the Aso Rock State House with President Buhari.

He wrote: It was an honor and a privilege to visit with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, yesterday in the company of my dear friends and brothers, Governor Mala Mai-Buni and Governor Bello Matawalle.

Mr. President received us very warmly and we had an excellent meeting. I intimated him of my decision to join the APC and he was delighted with the news.

Now we move forward together to make our country a better place and to bring peace, love and stability to our shores.

God bless Nigeria!

However, the defection did not go down well with Sheikh Gumi as he has described Fani Kayode as a traitor for jumping ships at the time he is needed the most by his people.

Sheikh Gumi called Kayode out on his Facebook page and blasted him.

He wrote: Judas of Oduduwa

“I have for long neglected the rantings of the Judas of Oduduwa attacking me knowing fully well that he is fake and a traitor.

“Time has now caught up with him and thanks to Allah, all his vituperations are cast in the dustbin of merciless history.

“It’s him now one wonders which of the seven circles of hell this duper will settle if he doesn’t repent.”
