See What King Of Morroco Asked President Buhari to Do To Stay Alive

Emerging report has thrown some Chieftains of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, into confusion, by revealing that the King, Mohammed VI of Morocco, in a telephone chat, has tactically called on President Muhamamdu Buhari, ‘to resign in order to stay alive’.

The call for Buhari’s resignation was based on the backdrop that Buhari’s fragile health cannot bear the enormous tasks and pressure of the office of the President, a competent source told Post-Nigeria, on Thursday afternoon.

Recall, that Buhari who left Nigeria on January 19, for a medical vacation in London, is yet to return, nor has he given any definite date for his return, as he maintained that he would get back to Presidential duties when his Doctors give him a clean bill of health.

He has however; assured the few privileged Nigerians who have spoken to him on phone, that he is fine and that there is no cause for worry, as he is resting.

Nonetheless, a check by Post-Nigeria shows that Buhari had on Wednesday, engaged King Mohammed VI of Morocco, in a telephone chat, when the Moroccan monarch called him up.

Reacting, a Moroccan news website, Le360, reported on Wednesday, that the monarch called up Buhari to discuss some issues affecting both nations, without actually calling for his resignation.

According to the report which is yet to be confirmed: “The sovereign first inquired about the state of health of the Nigerian Head of State, and welcomed its significant improvement, said a Royal Cabinet statement”.

It further claimed that both leaders, “also focused on the conclusions of the meeting held in Casablanca last December, under the Presidency of King Mohammed VI, concerning the Morocco-Nigeria Gas Pipeline, and the next steps for the completion of this strategic project.

“In addition, the King held President Buhari aware of the contacts that the sovereign has undertaken on this subject with the Heads of State of the region.

“At the same time, the King thanked President Buhari for his personal involvement in returning Morocco to the African Union.

“The sovereign also briefed President Buhari on the latest royal movements in Africa, as well as the Kingdom’s application to join ECOWAS.

“In addition, the King assured his Nigerian counterpart of the will of the sovereign to make the Rabat-Abuja axis, a framework for consultation and cooperation on all African issues.”
