Nigerian socialite and music promoter Sam Larry has spoken publicly for the first time after surviving a road accident that claimed the life of his bouncer.
The accident reportedly occurred over the weekend along the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway in Lagos State when the vehicle conveying Sam Larry and his bouncer collided with a trailer. While the promoter survived and is receiving treatment, his bouncer lost his life in the crash.
Speaking during a live video from his hospital bed, Sam Larry reassured fans that his condition is improving and revealed that he is expected to be discharged soon.
However, he disclosed that he is currently unable to walk and will have to rely on a wheelchair for some time as he continues his recovery.
“I’m doing well.
I’m expected to be discharged from the hospital soon. The only issue I’m facing right now is that I can’t walk, so I’ll be using a wheelchair, and God knows till when.
But, I’m grateful to be alive. I’ve seen a lot of negative speculation surrounding this accident.
The God I serve knows the truth; I am innocent.”
