Ruth Kadiri sends ‘SOS alerts to Nollywood stars, screenwriters’

Ruth Kadiri Ezerika, a Nollywood actress, has warned her coworkers and screenwriters not to let the lead actors take control of a movie.

Ruth Kadiri pleaded with the screenwriters to lessen the lead actors’ roles and give other cast members more prominence in a movie on her Instagram page.

The mother of two girls claims that Nollywood screenwriters enjoy assigning 98% of a movie role to the lead, a practice that does nothing to advance the film industry.

Ruth Kadiri argued that the supporting casts would have less significance and that the lead casts should be surrounded by diverse themes to elevate the other casts.
