Founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Prophet T.B. Joshua says God has asked him to pray for the protection of President Muhammadu Buhari and “wisdom enough” to lead Nigeria.

The cleric, who made this known during a church service on Sunday, July 7, added that God told him that Buhari was “a human being and there is no perfect man on earth.”

“I am here to share a vision I had two weeks ago concerning my nation — Nigeria — the heartbeat of Africa. Let us pray for our government, President Muhammadu Buhari. There is no perfect man on earth,” he said.

“Ask God to protect and fill him with wisdom enough to lead this nation. In my vision, I saw the seraphim coming down with rain. This rain comes with freshness and calmness. Nigeria, let us pray!”

Although Prophet Joshua did not tie his revelation to any event or issues in Nigeria, he spoke in the wake of condemnation and suspension of the Rural Grazing Area (RUGA) settlement project.

Gistlover understands that RUGA Settlement is a rural project plan by the Buhari administration aimed at ensuring animal farmers/herders stay in a designated place provided with basic amenities such as schools, hospitals, road networks, vet clinics, markets among others.

But many Nigerians kicked against the initiative, resulting in the suspension of the plan till further notice.

The suspension did not go down well with the Coalition of Northern Groups as it gave President Buhari a 30-day ultimatum to implement the plan.

In its reaction, the Northern Governors’ Forum called on all stakeholders, especially in the North, to remain calm while allowing government to handle the matter.

However, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has alleged that the government plans to reintroduce the RUGA settlements for herdsmen.
