Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has come to the defense of May Yul Edochie amid backlash surrounding her recently held business launch in London.
May, who hosted a celebrity-studded event at the prestigious Hilton Kensington, received massive support and a large turnout. However, some critics took to social media to describe the event as “cheap,” triggering Rita’s strong response.
Taking to Instagram, Rita addressed the naysayers whom she described as “small-minded,” questioning the logic behind belittling an event held in one of the most expensive areas in London.
She wrote,
