Seun Kuti, a well-known Afrobeats musician, has spoken about his awful time spent in police jail.

Recall that he was detained in jail for days before being released after being arrested for attacking a police officer.

On the order of the Yaba Chief Magistrate Court, Seun was remanded at the State Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Department, SCIID, Panti, Yaba, Lagos.

Seun Kuti stated that being in prison was preferable to living among politicians.

On Tuesday, May 23, the Grammy-nominated musician was allowed to leave prison once more.

Kuti revealed his experience in jail on Friday via his Instagram account.

The protester claimed that he was forced to lie down beside other prisoners on a cold, hard floor.

However, the controversial singer added that it was better than fraternizing with politicians in the ‘Devils house’

Seun wrote; “Dem put me for hard cold floor, in the midst of prisoners, still better than sitting in the devil’s house with politicians.”

The singer has flown out to Switzerland, which is where he will be starting his European music tour.
