President Buhari Continues To Shower Igbos With Love, Wasted No Time, Approves Immediate Overseas Treatment For Ekwueme

President Muhammadu Buhari, may have technically fulfilled his promise of being “for everybody”, by approving the immediate medical treatment of former Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme, outside the country.

Recall that Ekwueme had collapsed in his Enugu residence a few days ago, and was rushed to a local Hospital.

According to a statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, in Abuja ,on Friday, the approval followed a brief the President received on Friday, on the medical condition of the former Vice President.

The statement said the approval covers the immediate charter of an Air Ambulance for the emergency movement and the cost of treatment.

President Buhari prayed that God will grant the Elder Statesman speedy recovery.
