Portable bags Artist of The Year award, declares himself the new Fela, promises to win Grammy

Portable Omolalomi, a controversial street performer, has proclaimed himself the new Fela.

While celebrating his most recent accomplishment, the singer announced this on his Instagram page.

At the just ended Golden Stars Awards, which were presented on Sunday, June 18, Portable won Artist of the Year.

“Akoi Grace. Ika of Africa. Kinimah Fajah Trending Artist of the Year. Portable Omolalomi newborn Fela. Wahala musician.

Big thanks to all my lovers outside Zazuu Akoi Million fans”.

In his award speech, Portable had promised to bring home Grammy Awards.

This isn’t surprising as the singer has said countless times that he is coming for the Grammys.

Portable’s new wife, Ashabi dedicates new award to him and their son

Ashabi, a Nollywood star and the mother of singer Portable’s fifth child, has dedicated her latest award to the musician and their child.

The actress posted a video of herself and the award she won on her Instagram profile along with a message of gratitude.

She thanked the award’s sponsors for the special recognition and noted that this is the first award she is getting as a mother.

The award was given by Ashabi in honor of their son and Portable.
