Afrobeats artist Magixx has opened up about what it truly takes to thrive in the music business.
During an appearance on Hip TV’s Trending, the Mavin Records singer shared that being afraid of embarrassment is a major barrier to making it in the industry.
“If you’re afraid of embarrassment, you’ll never make it in life,” he said.
Magixx also pushed back against the idea that the streets are filled with undiscovered talent more gifted than those already in the spotlight. He pointed out that many people simply fail to use their opportunities wisely.
“People say talent is plenty outside. If it was, they would have seen the talent. A lot of people mismanaged their blessings,” he said.
He went on to stress that success is earned, not accidental. According to him, those who reach high levels in the industry do so because of their dedication and effort.
“God doesn’t make mistakes. If someone is in that position, it’s because they earned it,” Magixx added.
