Rita Edochie, a seasoned actor from Nigerian cinema, has been named the AGN’s women’s leader.
This was announced by the actress on her Instagram page.
She expressed gratitude to the guild for giving her the duty and pledged to preserve the AGN’s standards under God’s guidance. Rita Edochie penned:
“I thank the Actors Guild of Nigeria for finding me worthy of occupying the position of women leader/welfare of members.
“As the AGN women leader, I promise to do my best to keep the flag flying with the help of God almighty, together we move on.”
GISTLOVER previously reported that May Edochie, the estranged wife o Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has expressed her support for Rita Edochie, who has been appointed as the new Women Leader/Welfare at the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).
She congratulated Rita on her new role and urged her to wear the cap, highlighting the careful selection of her.
“Whoever the cap fits, let him/her wear. This particular one was carefully selected. Congrats, beautiful momma @ritaedochie. More grace and elevations”.
