Despite the spike in fuel prices, Nigerian lawmaker Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan has made commercial motorbike riders in the state of Ekiti happy.
The actress Nkechi Blessing’s ex-boyfriend drove the okada riders to a gas station where he filled their gas tanks.
In order to reduce the impact of the elimination of fuel subsidies, Opeyemi, a philanthropist, started the social good project.
According to NNPC’s adjustments, the new price of gasoline in Ekiti is N500 per litre.
The riders can be seen filling their tanks one after another while waiting in line at the gas station in a video posted on his foundation’s social media pages.
They formed a long line with their motorbikes and were patiently waiting for their turn to enter the petrol station and get fuel.
Opeyemi who revealed his kind gesture on Instagram, wrote; “Free fuel for Ekiti okada riders in Ekiti state by Hon opeyemi david falegan ( ODF) amid scarcity in Ekiti state. All service to humanity.”
