Emerging report indicates that tension has gripped Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, following the death of his Commissioner of Education, Professor Jonathan Andrew Nok, on Tuesday.
The death of the Commissioner came on the heels of the planned sack of over 22,000 Teachers, who El-Rufai and Jonathan planned to sack for failing a competency test.
Sources said that the El-Rufai received the death of Jonathan with deep shock.
Punch Newspaper reports that Jonathan was was born on 11th February, 1962, and hailed from Nok Village, in Jaba Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Until his appointment as the Commissioner of Health and Human Services; and later Commissioner for Education by Nasir el-Rufai, Nok (MFR), was a Professor of Biochemistry, at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
