Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, has taken a political jab at supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
There is a two million solidarity march scheduled to take place in Kaduna, and it is being organised by Obi’s supporters who are known as ObiDients.
He mocked ObiDients by saying that they do not stand a chance of having 200 people turning up on the day, impying that it is a tall dream to get 2 million persons.
El-Rufai stated this via hs official Twitter account while responding a tweet from @ZamarOmar who was excited and expressed hope that the turn out would be huge.
The governor also seemed to mock people in the south-east who are unble to open their shops on Mondays.
He described them as “imports” and alleged that they entered Kaduna state with bus the previous night.
Zamar tweeted;
”Kaduna Two Million March for Peter Obi
Kaduna Two Million March for Peter Obi
Kaduna Two Million March for Peter Obi
Kaduna Two Million March for Peter Obi
Kaduna Two Million March for Peter Obi
Kaduna Two Million March for Peter Obi
KadunaTwoMillionMarchforPeterObi”
In reaction, El-Rufai tweeted: “In Kaduna? Not Kaduna Twitter? – I hope you get Two Hundred persons on the streets, including those ‘imports’ that can’t open their shops on Mondays and came on overnight bus last night!
