Josephina Ijeoma Otabor, a controversial Big Brother Naija reality star better known as Phyna, has said that Wizkid is the only Nigerian singer that impresses her.
She stated the musician won her over with a recent social media outburst in which he chastised individuals who criticized him for rejecting the Afrobeats tag.
Wizkid created controversy with his recent admission that he no longer wants to identify as an Afrobeats musician, as well as a statement criticizing people who condemned him for abandoning the genre.
However, in a post on the X platform, Phyna praised the singer, claiming that he is the only Nigerian musician who has impressed her.
She wrote in Pidgin: “Omo I’m loving Wizkid now oooh. Baba no send anybody papa. Gosh…shea person fit change fave? Bcuz like this eh!!! Na only Star boy dy do wetin dy sweet me…Una papa.”
