Debo Adebayo, a Nigerian content producer and skit maker known as Mr Macaroni, has shared the most important lesson acquired from Hilda Baci’s cook-a-thon.

Mr Macaroni recently congratulated her on his Instagram page, mentioning how Hilda Baci didn’t stop cooking even after she exceeded Lata Tondon’s 87-hour record.

Mr Macaroni went on to say that her resolve to reach to 100 hours helped her break a new world record, despite GWR taking 7 hours away from her.

The actor expressed gratitude to Hilda and added that she had encouraged him to accomplish more.

Mr Macaroni, ever the comedian, stated that he would be setting a record, Freak-A-Thon, for the most time spent chasing freaks.

“Congratulations Hilda Baci. The greatest lesson here is that Hilda did not stop even after surpassing the 87 hours set by Lata Tondon.

She went all the way to 100 hours and the decision to do so helped her set a new world record despite GWR taking away 7 hours.

I’m inspired to do more. Thank you, Hilda. Daddy Wa is ready to shake the world”.

Hilda Baci reacts after Guinness world record crowned her the new record holder for longest cooking marathon 93-hours

Hilda Baci, a Nigerian chef, has welcomed the news as ‘the best ever’ after being confirmed as the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

The announcement was posted on the Guinness World Records website, sending Nigerians into a frenzy.

Because of problems with her resting hours, Hilda’s record time is currently 93 hours and 11 minutes, as opposed to the 100 hours she cooked for.

GWR wrote;

“Following a thorough review of all the evidence, Guinness World Records can now confirm that Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci, has officially broken the record for the longest cooking marathon (individual), with a time of 93 hours 11 minutes.

“The 26-year-old Nigerian chef began on Thursday 11 May and continued through to Monday 15 May, cooking over 100 pots of food during her four-day kitchen stint.

“Hilda attempted to set a record of 100 hours, however, almost seven hours were deducted from her final total because she mistakenly took extra minutes for one of her rest breaks early on in the attempt.”

Taking to Twitter to react to her confirmed record, the chef was full of thanks while gushing over the official confirmation.

She wrote, “This is the best news ever omg omg omg thank you so much 🥺”
