Missy Elliott Remembers Her Late Friend, Aaliyah On Her 39th Birthday
Veteran rapper, Missy Elliott has paid tribute to her late friend and singer Aaliyah whose 39th birthday would have been today, January 16, 2017.
The “Work It” rapper tweeted a lengthy message in memory of Aaliyah with a number of throwback pictures showing the two friends laughing and smiling.
“Aaliyah so many people ?? your Style & Music! I wish they all got a chance to meet you to see how CARING you were to EVERYONE you met! I CAN STILL HEAR YOU LAUGH & me you @Timbaland joking?we MISS YOU so much but I know you are surrounded by ANGELS 4 your BDAY??? WE LOVE U,” Missy wrote.
