Controversial Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage has responded to online reports implying that the purported sex tape with her lover was a publicity ploy.
The Koroba crooner had in an interview disclosed that someone was blackmailing her with a sex tape of her and the man she’s currently dating.
She, however, refused to be blackmailed for something she termed natural.
Tiwa Savage mentioned that the sex tape was mistakenly posted by her man but deleted minutes later.
This generated mixed comments online, with some fans accusing her of being irresponsible, while others suggested that her disclosure of the sex tape was a publicity stunt.
The singer responded to the backlash on her Instagram story, saying individuals who made such remarks are upset that she was able to control the narrative and not allow the revelation of the sex tape ruin her.
She wrote:
“You hated how I was able to control the narrative and get ahead of a story before it consumed me and how I was able to joke on stage about something you thought will destroy me and make me ashamed .”
I wish I can fly home from UK to marry this beautiful lady Tiwa. Who that posted that video shoe go to prison to teach others a big lesson. At least every matured people F so, what’s the big deal. Many people in Africa were just delusional . What a brainwashed society
Please people should allow Tiwa Savage to have peace of mind, is she no longer human with feelings or is blood no longer running in her body like every other human does again?. Everybody is a victim of sex, stop criticizing her. That her own was reviewed and your own hided doesn’t make you more righteous than her. No human have the right, except God. And the worst thing is everyone get arouse as they watch the tape and they love watching it every moment, it’s only painful to them that it would have been too they that is making love to her, while many ladies will now start using that sex position… So everybody should mind their business. Despite the trending video, I love her the most
