He is an actor best known for his portrayal of the character Ren McCormack in the critically acclaimed 2011 musical comedy film “Footloose”, written and directed by Craig Brewer and also starred Julianne Hough and Denis Quaid. From an early age he was interested in dancing and after his parents noticed his passion, they enrolled him in a performing arts school where Kenny practiced dancing, singing and acting. In 1998, he enrolled at Stoughton High School, where he was physically active, playing both soccer and football, and was a member of the school choir and drama club, appearing in almost every play at school.
Kenny chose not to attend college after enrolling in 2002 but to move to Los Angeles, California and focus on his acting and dancing career.
