Just IN: APC, LP, PDP chairmen arrive Supreme Court

Arriving at the Supreme Court session in Abuja, the capital of the country, are the chairs of the All Progressives Congress, Labour Party, and acting head of the Peoples Democratic Party, respectively: Abdullahi Ganduje, Julius Abure, and Umar Damagum.

As the party chairmen arrived at the hearing to hear the ruling of the supreme court regarding the petitions filed by the PDP’s Atiku Abubakar and the Labour Party’s Peter Obi against the election of President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, they were observed exchanging pleasantries.

The session has not yet started as of the time this report was sent.

The Supreme Court has given its approval for the ruling on the 2023 presidential election to be broadcast live.

The court is already crowded with camera operators from several TV channels as of the time this story was written.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate Atiku Abubakar, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidate Bola Tinubu, and the Labour Party and its candidate Peter Obi were among the cases heard by the apex court on Monday. On Wednesday, the court announced that a decision in these cases would be made on Thursday, or today.
