- Iran launched a new missile at Israel, resulting in at least four casualties, despite claims of a ceasefire.

Tensions in the Middle East remain high as Iran has reportedly launched a new missile strike on Israel, resulting in the deaths of at least four civilians, despite earlier statements from Tehran announcing the start of a ceasefire.
The Israeli emergency service, Magen David Adom (MDA), confirmed that the missile struck the southern city of Beersheba early Tuesday, killing four individuals on impact. Several others were injured, including two in moderate condition and over 20 others who suffered minor injuries or stress-related symptoms.
The fresh attack comes just hours after Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi declared an official halt to Iran’s military retaliation against Israel as of 4 a.m. local time.
However, by 6 a.m., air raid sirens were already blaring across parts of Israel, with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirming that new missiles had been launched from Iranian territory.
This escalation follows U.S. President Donald Trump’s announcement of a ceasefire deal between the two nations. The agreement, unveiled on Truth Social, was intended to bring a phased end to the 12-day conflict, with each side agreeing to a staggered de-escalation period before a full ceasefire would take effect within 24 hours.
Despite the declaration, both Iran and Israel have continued to exchange threats. While Tehran insists it has no plans to resume military action if Israel refrains from further attacks, Israeli officials remain skeptical, warning of additional missile threats from Iran before the ceasefire deadline.
The international community is now watching closely to see whether the ceasefire agreement can hold or if the latest attack marks the beginning of renewed hostilities.
