Ruger, the Afrobeat artist Michael Adebayo Olayinka, has formally announced his departure from the Jonzing World record label.
The musician revealed the news on his own Instagram page, expressing gratitude to Dprince, his boss, for having faith in him and helping him go this far.
He expressed regret for having to go and stated he is prepared to stake a big bet on himself this year.
Ruger prayed to God for strength to help him through the launch of his new record label, Blown Boyent.
In his words: “Thank you Jonzing world and dprince for believing in me and taking me this far. Wouldn’t have gotten here without you. It’s sad that I have to leave but God knows best. I am taking a big bet on myself this year. I don’t know it all but I know God will see me through. It is time for @blownboyent 💥💥💥”
