Nigerian musician Gabriel Oche Amanyi, also known as Terry G, has sparked controversy with his recent bold claim that he is a secular musician who sings for the devil.

During a teaser for a forthcoming episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, the singer discussed the function of secular music in society and its alleged tendency to honor the devil rather than God.

He said:“I am a secular musician. I sing for the devil. We [secular musicians] sing for the devil, we praise the devil. We don’t glorify God.”He also touched upon Wizkid’s evolving music style, suggesting that it might alienate a significant portion of his Nigerian audience.

“Wizkid music no dey too relate to us. My colleagues from my set, most of us are illiterates,” he said.
