“I’ll Hug Him Anytime” – VeryDarkMan Responds to Seun Kuti Amid Blord Drama

    Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan, whose real name is Martins Otse, has addressed the growing tension involving musician Seun Kuti and activist-politician Omoyele Sowore over the controversial Blord case.

    Speaking on the issue, VeryDarkMan revealed that Seun Kuti had expressed dissatisfaction with how the situation was handled and allegedly considered asking Sowore to withdraw his involvement.

    According to him: “Seun Kuti said he would call Sowore to remove his contribution on the whole Blord matter because he was not happy about the whole thing… he said myself and Blord didn’t want to listen to him.”

    The development comes after VeryDarkMan’s petition reportedly led to the arrest of crypto businessman Blord in early April over allegations of impersonation in advertisements. Blord was later granted bail after spending about two weeks in custody, with a brief return due to passport-related issues.

    Despite the tension, VeryDarkMan struck a conciliatory tone towards Seun Kuti, describing him as someone he still respects.

    He stated that he holds no personal grudge and would “hug him anytime,” signaling a willingness to maintain their relationship despite differences.

    However, his remarks about Sowore were less accommodating, as he questioned the activist’s intentions and dismissed his political prospects, suggesting underlying personal motives in the disput
