In a post on his official Instagram page, the acclaimed actor informed his followers of the good news.

Pete Edochie shared in his post that the title came at the most unexpected time in his life.

Pete Edochie took the time in his announcement to teach his followers how to pronounce his new chieftaincy title and how to address him; he wrote:

“New Chieftaincy Title: IBOBO Umuleri…. Pronunciation: Umueri….. Umueri being my maternal home.”
