The award-winning artiste made the disclosure on 𝕏 after appearing at the prestigious event on Wednesday, where she joined other international stars to mark the opening of the new centre.
According to reports, Tems later took to social media to reflect on her experience after she mistakenly referred to the daughters of former U.S. President Barack Obama by incorrect names while speaking on stage.
She explained that stage nerves affected her during the appearance and went on to apologize for the mix-up.
Her words: “Lord knows I was nervous! Please forgive me!!!”
