‘I was dr*nk the day I said I wanted it’- Davido reacts as Drake shows off his N1.7 Billion chain

Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke better known as Davido, has made a U-turn after vowing to acquire the chain of Canadian rapper Drake.

Recently, Drake showed off his $3,000,000 chain and it is the same type chain Davido once declared that he wanted.

Davido saw the whooping worth of the Jewelry and he joked as he re-shared the post to his story saying ;

Taking to his Instagram story, Davido apologised to his fans that he would no longer acquire the chain.

Considering the enormous amount of money, Davido said he was drunk the day he had said he wanted Drake’s homer chain.

He wrote: I was drunk the day said I wanted this…sorry guys

Davido’s post gave some people something to laugh about and they subtly mocked the DMW Boss over the inability to buy the chain.

Reacting to these comments, Davido then took to the comment section to write ;

“See people here in the comment section so happy that or think I cannot buy this… I actually can but it would be a dumb investment.

I definitely personally don’t have Drake money but I know where to get it from. MA FO”.
