The ‘BBNaija’ house is like a different kind of prison – Seyi Awolowo

Actor and reality TV sensation Seyi Awolowo of Nigeria has expressed his gratitude to film makers for seeing potential in him.

He claimed that casting directors paid close attention to his voice and looks while deciding which parts to cast him in.

Months after apologizing publicly to BBNaija housemates and viewers for a contentious comment he made regarding women, he now expresses gratitude.

Seyi had previously stated his intention to teach his young kids to be promiscuous with other people’s daughters.

During an interview with Sunday Scoop, the two-time Big Brother Naija competitor discussed his career goals. He expressed a desire to step outside of his comfort zone and take on more demanding parts, going beyond his role as a good guy in movies.

Seyi, who is related to the first premier of the Western Region, Obafemi Awolowo, has expressed an interest in playing roles that audiences might not expect, such as a father, a bus driver, or an unexpected character.

He said; “I really appreciate all the producers who have called me for jobs, and are allowing me to put my acting skills to good use. I would like to believe that my voice and physique have influenced many of the roles I get.

But, that is a double edged sword, because it might make me to be stereotyped. Moving forward though, I would love to play more challenging roles. It won’t be bad to play the role of a bus conductor or father; roles that people won’t see coming.”
