Award-winning Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has reflected on life after her latest movie, Oversabi Aunty, grossed over N1 billion at the Nigerian box office.

The film, which was released on December 19, 2025, has now become the fourth highest-grossing Nollywood movie of all time, marking a major milestone in the actress’ career.

Featuring a star-studded cast including Mike Ezuruonye, Tana Adelana, Jemima Osunde, and Ngozi Ezeonu, the movie has received widespread attention since its release.

The title Oversabi Aunty was inspired by a viral moment at Priscilla Ojo’s wedding, where Toyin Abraham’s lively personality earned her the nickname “Oversabi.”

Reacting to the film’s success, Toyin Abraham took to social media to share her experience since achieving the milestone.

“Ever since I made over 1B I never rest🤣🤣😂😂na like this, this level be😂😂”, she tweeted.

Amid the celebration, Toyin Abraham also addressed allegations made by actress Abike Shugaa regarding payment and removed scenes from the movie Ijakumo.

Abike Shugaa had earlier claimed she was paid N50,000 for her role and later discovered that her scenes were removed from the film.

Responding, Toyin Abraham clarified that the payment structure was accurate for the specific project and added that the decision to remove scenes was made by the film’s director.

She also noted that Abike Shugaa had been paid a higher amount for a separate project.

According to Toyin Abraham, she paid Abike Shugaa N500,000 for her role in Malaika and N50,000 for two scenes in Ijakumo, which were eventually cut during production.
