Temilade Openiyi, professionally known as Tems, released a statement clarifying her pregnancy speculation with American rapper Future.
Remember that in September 2023, Tems, the “U & Me” hitmaker, was one of the trending topics on the internet because to her supposed protruding tummy during the Burberry Fashion show in London.
Another source stated that Tems’ supposed pregnancy is the property of Future. This claim was immediately linked to rapper Future when Tems won her first Grammy Award for his song “Wait for you,” which also included Drake.
Tems, on the other hand, disputed the pregnancy story, claiming that she had a substantial dinner that day, which may explain her sudden tummy growth.
Expressing herself further in a latest interview with the Beat 99.9FM following her arrival in Lagos, Tems maintained her stand as she uttered that she didn’t know that the pregnancy rumour was real until she started receiving death threat.
Tems further added that she has never met Future before in her life noting that of all the people in the world, why should she get pregnant for rapper Future.
Tems said; ““Of all the people in the world, Future? I’ve never even met him in my life.”
