  • Mirabelle has spoken out after a stranger mocked her acne, revealing the emotional impact of the comment.
  • She shared her struggles with the condition and called for more empathy, sparking conversations about body shaming and sensitivity.

Nigerian content creator Mirabelle has opened up about a painful experience after a stranger made a hurtful remark about her skin condition.

In an emotional statement, Mirabelle revealed that someone approached her, looked at her acne, and made a shocking comment that deeply affected her.

“Someone walked up to me, looked at my skin and said ‘God forbid.’ I’ve been crying about it for a while now. I hate having acne so much. Why would anyone say something like that to another person?” she said.

She explained that acne has been part of her life for several years, and she has made efforts to manage it, highlighting the emotional toll it has taken on her.

“Acne has been a part of my life for the past 4 years. Do you think I haven’t tried almost everything to fix it? Do you know how hard it is dealing with acne?” she added.

Mirabelle also shared how the condition affects her self-esteem, admitting that she sometimes compares her skin to others.

“Do you think I don’t look at other people’s skin and wish mine looked like theirs? You hurt me deeply and I hate you,” she said.

Her story has sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing sympathy and calling for more sensitivity when addressing people’s physical appearance.
