Folarin Falana, also known as Falz, a Nigerian rapper and activist, has excitedly gushed over his wonderful progress one month after undergoing knee surgery.
Falz underwent knee surgery on May 2, 2023 in London, UK. The rapper, who made the announcement on Instagram, stated that he acquired the injury while playing football in November 2022, but underwent knee surgery on May 2 at a hospital in London. He requested that Nigerians and his fans should pray for him.
Sharing a video detailing his progress, Falz could be seen walking confidently without his crutches. Although they were in his hands, probably for support, he walked quite well without then and even did a little twirl for his fans to see he is okay.
Falz who recently addressed critics who bashed him for undergoing surgery abroad, went on to show how he stopped by the field and met with some of his friends but unfortunately couldn’t play with them. Captioning the video, the rapper wrote:
“Significant progress recorded after a month
Went for a quick stretch with the Chivas family
Hopefully back on the pitch this time next year.”
