“How is this possible” – Reactions as Nigerian lady shows off her 5 months and 2 weeks Irish twins

A Nigerian woman drew a lot of attention online after she posted a video of her 5 months and 2 weeks old babies.

The video was shared on her TikTok account, @little.orangeboy, and it elicited a variety of reactions from social media users.

The mother in the video placed her children on the bed and asked netizens if they had a name for the type of births she had.

Although extremely rare, it is medically known as Superfetation. This is a phenomenon in which a second pregnancy occurs alongside an existing one, according to the report.

Days or weeks later, another ovum (egg) is fertilized by sperm and implanted in the womb.

Babies born from superfetation are mostly called Irish twins, which was originated in the 1800s as a way to mock the Irish catholic immigrant families who did not have access to birth control.

Internet users got amazed as they wondered if the two week baby and five month old son could be from the same woman.

The video quickly went viral with thousand of likes. Social media users trooped to share their thoughts.
