‘He Will Be Missed By All’– Zulum Mourns Isa Gusau

Borno’s governor, Babagana Zulum, described his late spokesman, Malam Isa Gusau, as an extraordinary professional who carried out his duties with transparency and unwavering support.

Zulum added that the state has lost a thorough professional who dedicated himself to promoting the image of the state in his condolence statement, which was released on Friday in Maiduguri.

 “Malam Isa Gusau was admired by everyone for his commitment to the people of Borno and his exceptional professionalism in discharging his role.

“He was a tireless advocate for the state and worked tirelessly to communicate the government’s initiatives and policies to the public with clarity and transparency,” Zulum said.

“Isa Gusau will be remembered for his passion for serving the people of Borno and his dedication to the betterment of the state,” the governor stated.

Zulum expressed his sadness at losing a devoted and loved team member.

According to NAN, Gusau passed away at an Indian hospital on Thursday following a protracted illness.

Prior to serving as Special Adviser on Public Relations and Strategy for Borno’s then-Governor Kashim Shettima and, later, Gov. Zulum, he was employed by the Daily Trust newspaper. He held this position till his passing.

Gusau survive with 2 wives and 3 children.
