“Haven’t removed it since 1976” – Woman who has worn her wedding ring for almost 50 years shows it off online

Oby Asiegbu, a Nigerian woman, has piqued the interest of many online by displaying her mother’s wedding band, which has been securely attached to her finger since 1976.

The video, which has now gone viral, shows Oby Asiegbu presenting her mother’s wedding ring as a narrator recounts the band’s extraordinary history.

According to the lady, her mother has worn the ring for 48 years without ever taking it off her finger.

However, over time, her mom’s finger has developed flesh, leading the ring to become permanently fastened.

Oby Asiegbu expressed her amusement and respect for her mother’s continuing attachment to the ring, adding that attempts to remove it failed owing to considerable changes in her mother’s finger size over the years

Remarkably, the lady mentioned that her father, to whom her mother is married, is still alive.
