A foreign woman has stirred reactions online after a video surfaced showing her passionately advising Nigerians to support Peter Obi ahead of future elections.
In the now-viral clip, the Caucasian lady spoke in pidgin English while expressing frustration over the state of the country and how Nigerians continue to complain despite having what she described as a good candidate.
“Nigerians, God sent you messiah Peter Obi make him arrange Nigeria and una still dey do anyhow,” she said.
She further warned Nigerians against constantly complaining about hardship without participating actively in the electoral process.
“I go come Naija, I will mount in every street… GO AND VOTE, STOP CRYING!” she added.
The video quickly generated heavy reactions on social media, with many users debating her comments and political stance.
Reacting to the video, an X user identified as @mrrestructure wrote:
“We no dey fall for this emotional manipulation again.”
Another user, @Cjameswave, defended Peter Obi and supported the woman’s statement, saying:
“This might look like a joke, but sincerely, we do have opportunity to positively change this country in the man Peter Obi.”
A different user, @para_mode, disagreed with the lady’s position, arguing that Peter Obi already had years in public office to make changes.
“The messiah she wants us to vote had 8 long years to make a difference but he couldn’t,” the user wrote.
