Breaking: Frank Lampard Set to Be Sacked By Chelsea.

The appointed Chelsea head coach in July 2019, Frank Lampard had finished in top four and reached FA Cup final in first season; Chelsea ninth in Premier League after 19 games, 11 points behind leaders Manchester United and five points off Liverpool in fourth.

Chelsea will reportedly fire club legend and coach following a poor run of form that does not reflect how busy the club was during the transfer window that saw it spend over $292 million on players.

Frank Lampard is set to be sacked as head coach by Chelsea with former Borussia Dortmund and PSG boss Thomas Tuchel replacing him, it will be confirmed later today.

Recall, Chelsea beat Luton Town 3-1 in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday but the result was not enough to keep Lampard in his job.

According to Sky in Germany, Tuchel is in line to replace Lampard. The German coach left PSG in December.

However, after a 17-game unbeaten run in all competitions earlier this season, Chelsea’s form has nosedived. Since the middle of December, they have lost away to Everton, Wolves, Arsenal and Leicester and were also beaten 3-1 at home by Manchester City.
