Pickpockets, on Thursday, October 6 stole the mobile phone of former vice-president, Namadi Sambo, at an event in Abuja.

Former Kaduna lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani made this known via his verified Twitter page as he noted that the theft occured at a book launch.

The ex VP was invited as a guest of honour at the public presentation of the biography of the late former governor of Plateau State, Solomon Lar, and launch of Solomon Lar Leadership Institute.

Sani who expressed shock over the incident, said he found it unbelievable that security was breached at the event.

He wrote; “It’s incredible that someone can breach the tight security line and steal the phone of the former VP Sambo at the ongoing late Governor Solomon Lar Book launch in Abuja”.
