A drive/walk-through procession is scheduled to commemorate the second anniversary of the shootings which took place at the Lekki toll gate.

Men of the Lagos state police command and their combat vehicles have been stationed at the tollgate to forestall in any breakdown of law and order.

Recall also that 20th oct, 2021 Nigerians who came out to commemorate the ugly encounter that occurred in oct 20, 2020 in Lekki Tollgate are witnessed strong resistance from the police who are putting in enormous effort to disperse the crowd.

Video footage captures the moment some police officers shot teargas at protesters in a bid to make them disintegrate and subsequently void their action.
