Popular Nigerian skit maker Odahohwo Joseph Efe, better known as Carter Efe, has stirred reactions online after aligning himself with Davido Wizkid’s long-time rival.

This move came shortly after Carter Efe lost his highly-followed TikTok and Instagram accounts, reportedly due to controversial remarks he made about Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid.

In the wake of the incident, Davido reached out to Carter Efe via a video call, warmly embracing him into his camp. Despite publicly apologising to Wizkid, it seems the tension hasn’t completely eased.

In a recently surfaced video, Wizkid’s official DJ, Tunez, issued a stern warning to Carter Efe, cautioning him against disrespecting Wizkid’s fanbase, known as Wizkid FC. DJ Tunez boldly declared they would not tolerate any further provocation and jokingly advised Carter to “watch his spit”a phrase that quickly went viral and sparked humorous reactions across social media.
