A dead body has been found in Mohamed Elneny’s home in Egypt.

Police are currently exploring the issue after the body was found by the Arsenal midfielder’s dad.

As indicated by Italian paper Gazetta, Elneny’s father quickly advised the experts after he found the ‘lifeless body inside his son’s home’.

The house, near the city of Mahalla Al-Kubra, is right now under development.

Police are yet to officially identify the dead person and it isn’t known whether it was a criminal act or an accident.

The site case the body was found ‘in the patio’ at the home.

Elneny was missing from Arsenal’s squad to confront Lyon on Sunday evening, as the Gunners slipped to a 2-1 defeat in the Emirates Cup.
