Cristiano Ronaldo Publicly Affirms That Messi ‘Stole’ the Ballon d’Or From Him and Lewandowski

Popular Footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo has publicly agreed with claims that Lionel Messi ‘stole’ the Ballon d’Or from him and Robert Lewandowski.

It can be recalled that the Paris Saint-Germain star, Messi, won his seventh Ballon d’Or on Monday, November 29, after beating Lewandowski by 33 votes.

However, Ronaldo, a five-time winner of the Ballon d’Or, came in sixth with 435 votes

Following Messi’s win, a fan account of Ronald called ‘Cristiano Ronaldo – The Legendary’, shared an Instagram post claiming Messi didn’t deserve the win.

Comparing Ronaldo’s 2021 achievements with Messi’s, the fan made snide remarks about Messi and described his accolade as ‘theft. Dirt. Shame. Simply regrettable.’
