Chance the Rapper and his wife, Kirsten Corley, have split.

They announced the divorce in a joint statement posted to the rapper’s Instagram account on Wednesday, stating that they made the decision after a time of separation.

According to the statement, they will have shared legal custody of their girls.

“After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways. We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.

“God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together,” the statement partly read.

Kensil, their first kid together, was born in 2015 while the couple was still dating.

They split up in 2016, reconciled in 2018, and married in March 2019.

In September 2019, they revealed that they had welcomed their second daughter, Marli.
