Nigerian skit maker and singer, Carter Efe, has lost access to his Instagram account with 1.8 million followers, shortly after publicly criticizing music star Wizkid.
The controversy began when Carter Efe called Wizkid an “idiot boy” during a live video, accusing the Grammy-winner of being full of pride. The clip quickly went viral and triggered backlash from Wizkid’s fan base, known as FC.
Following the incident, Carter Efe took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that his Instagram account had been taken down, claiming it was the result of mass reports from Wizkid’s loyal fans.
“FC una collect my Instagram account of 1.8Million followers 😭😭😭💔💔💔💔,” he lamented.
In a follow-up post, Carter expressed heartbreak but also affection toward Wizkid, writing:
“I love him with everything i have in my immune systems ❤️🥺But the fans are going wild for the first son💔
The betrayed me in the last minute
