Boko Haram, Bandits Will Be Defeated – Buhari Reveals When.
The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has stated that Boko Haram insurgents and bandits in the northwest will be defeated before the year 2021 ends.
The commander in Chief of the Republic made this known when speaking during the Juma’at Prayer for the 2021 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration at the National Mosque.
Buhari who was represented by the Defense Minister, Major General Magashi Salihi called for prayers for the Armed Forces of Nigeria to enable them to end the war against insurgency.
He assured Nigerians that “this is a year of action and we will finish what we are doing.”
“What is happening in this country will soon be over. This year we will finish what we are doing; pray for us that we succeed,” Buhari said.
